Launch Details
Astroblock was born out of the Brussels ETHGlobal Hackathon in the summer of 2024 then continued through to the Superfluid Frontier Guild (a buildathon sponsored by Superfluid). The initial version of Astroblock saw more than 10k users earn $ASTRO streams through a live multiplayer space shooter miniapp on farcaster (formerly frames V2) and in the browser. Today, Astroblock is a fully onchain explorable & composable universe: an onchain galaxy. The crowdfund, hosted on PartyDAO, allocated resources to establish sustainable liquidity and community-driven growth. The funds were distributed with 45% permanently locked in Uniswap LP for trading stability, 45% directed to the community, and 10% allocated to the PartyDAO wallet for development.
